Do you remember your first day at your job? I bet Mathew, Erin and AJ will remember today.
Frankly - we got very little "work-like" stuff done. Today was a chance for the new guys to meet Lips, Dan and everyone else who works at WKTI. It's an odd situation because people here know a lot about them - but Mathew, Erin and AJ know very little about everyone at 'KTI. Today, that all changed.
So we handled all the HR stuff, took thier ID badge photos, met with everyone on staff - and that was pretty much the day. We have a big staff, and people really wanted to sit and talk with them. Thus, we didn't get a whole lot done other than introductions.
Tomorrow - media day for Mathew, Erin and AJ inside Radio City.

Still not listening.
Tuned in for 20 years and now tuned out.
Anonymous - give it a break. Take your negativity and go away. Some of us find this interesting.
I just think it was sad that we as listener's could not say "Goodbye" to Gino, Gene and Jenna
I've got a mortgage, 3 kids, a crabby boss and personal problems. This blog is really interesting stuff. Get a clue. What's next, Mathew, Erin and A.J. take their first trip to the company toilet?
This truly has been a slap in the face. I've listened to 'KTI most of my married life (37 years). All of my daughters grew up with 'KTI and the morning show. Where do we go now. You could've let them have a chance to say good-bye to the fans so we could be prepared the way we were with Reitman. Good-bye 'KTI.
I'm still channel surfing myself to find a perfect fit to replace the beloved former morning team. I wake up to Gene's voice on 620; have that on for an hour (you can just listen to the same news over and over) and then try and find a station that will make me laugh and not play the same crummy music over and over. But I will NEVER go back to mornings at WKTI. Not after how we were treated....
It's amazing all the bile that's being spewed, especially after everyone involved (Mueller, Bob here, etc.) explained exactly why things went down the way they did, and strangely, all the reasons make sense. I've followed Gene to TMJ and probably won't listen to the new KTI show, because I'm a Gene guy. But enough with the "we were treated HORRIBLY" crap already.
Funny how KTI management just uprooted one of the biggest pieces of Milwaukee for the sake of bringing in new fresh meat. NO thanks.
It would have been nice to say goodby to the am team, for example Geno R. & Mueller, have listened for a long time & will not go back since what you did not right at all
I too have listened for 25+ years. 25 yrs ago, alot of us were young twenty somethings. Remember that we've all gotten older. I listened to Reitman and Mueller all these years because they were part of my morning. I hated it when you brought Amy on board, I agree with the comments that all she did was talk about the triplets. It got old listening to her imitate her children and fill us in on potty training. I wanted to hear more intelligent talk. I was happy to see her go.
I too felt that this happened too abruptly. I seems like you are looking for that twenty-thirty something audience that we once were. Now where do we go? Older and forgotten.
